I feel like the way they do that now contributed to the chaos in my case. I think it used to be that one person took the orders for the entire aisle and just went to DMs first. On my recent SYD-HKG, it seemed to be one person taking orders generally and another taking DM orders and there seemed to be no coordination. Not the end of the world to be asked twice but creates a chaotic unpolished impression.
