+1 Marriott can only dilute (reduce) the value proposition so much for elites before there is no longer a reason to remain loyal. Once elites are no longer loyal, presumably occupancy rates at properties will go down and Marriott Customers (Property Owners) will be unhappy. How much further the benefit and service cuts can go before seeing a measurable drop in occupancy rates and/or ADR is still TBD. The sky isn't falling (at least not yet) but the game continues to evolve. YMMV....
