This is very disheartening news
(news that it can only be resolved through court...)
Will it be a waste of time if I try first with the CAA and if nothing comes out of it, then I go to court? It seems that the CAA was able to step up in some cases (not sure if any of those were Vueling though).
What do you make of these statements that I received regarding the flight Vueling cancelled?
BA told me that they have that: "the flight was cancelled due to operational reasons which is for your own safety".
And the travel agency said they have that: "
the flight was disrupted due to operational events (schedule change procedures)".
Not sure if they are the same thing but they are not specific enough.
At that day, the airline staff at the gate told passengers that the crew from the flight that had just arrived (usually a flight that takes 2hs) wouldn't have enough hours to fly our plane back (our flight would take 2hs too) so the flight was cancelled.
Then Vueling claimed that the cancellation was due to extraordinary circunstances, a storm.
Who or what to believe?

I am really annoyed with myslelf for not getting a concrete proof either recorded or written on that day!

I'm not a quitter so I will keep trying...
