I simply thanked them, hung up, called IAG Loyalty in Warrington, and it was all sorted within 15 minutes. I did a follow up with CR, and received a phone call they would feed this back to the Management at Didsbury. But seems to me standards their continue to faulter. Which is a contrast, as I know they held quite a lot of professional pride being the main contact for Gold and GGL. Within the last year it seems you’re more likely to get the less knowledgeable, rather than the 10-20 year agents, with that experience to just get it done.

I know it doesn’t help this particular case, but always remember IAG Loyalty in Warrington literally Live and Breathe everything to do with Avios and Vouchers. They are dedicated to it, and if ever in doubt call them. Exec Gold at Didsbury do a vast range of other things including Vouchers, but it’s not a universal high level of skill in this area, even down, it seems, to their Duty Managers and Team leaders.
How does one call IAG Loyalty in Warrington and is that something I can do as Gold? Will hit GGL for the first time later and can't wait if that means less of this stuff happening to me, it's a significant part of the effort to get there.
