Unfortunately, single-deck BJ with 6:5 payoffs have spead like wildfire on the strip. The only way to reverse this trend is if people refuse to play it. Sadly, though, people still flock to them anyway.
You're much better off sitting down at a table with a shoe that pays the normal 3:2. (Shoes don't lower your odds over a single-deck game anyway unless you are a prolific card counter -- and even then it's marginal b/c of how frequently they reshuffle in a single-deck.) Regular shoes are even endanged, however, as those "continuous shuffle" machines gain popularity with the casinos.
You might still see some 3:2 single-deck BJ at the strip properties on tables where the minimum bet is $25 or more. These are more likely to be found in the morning as well. Otherwise, you will need to go downtown or off-strip to one of the "locals" casinos.
