Seacliff Inn, Aptos, near Santa Cruz, CA (Tapestry collection)

I don't believe there's a thread for this property. It's a very simple "holiday inn-esque" hotel near Santa Cruz. The grounds are charming, if sl. kitsch -- e.g. a bridge over a pond next to the restaurant. Rooms are very simple, but fairly large. No elevators for second floor rooms (in case that's relevant). My "upgrade" was to a "garden view" room, which was really a view of part of the pool and not that nice.

As with US properties, the "free breakfast" for gold/diamond is replaced with a $15/pp food and beverage credit: almost all breakfast items are priced around $15-24, so it won't actually cover breakfast. I just wanted a coffee and was surprised that it wasn't on offer free of charge (like it is in most US hotels), and was ~$6.

Overall, a clean, simple inn near a fairly touristy area.
