I would rate it as very risky and stressful.
You will have to unplane, then get to the storage and get your extra suitcase, then go to the checkin counter .
If the LYS flight is delayed (they usually seem so except the 6am one), it is tricky.
IMO the added stress and risk is not worth adding a suitcase in the car.
