Endless jet set and glamour - or just a few fill-ins?

In the hope that the photo situation improves, I'll start a new report. It's about a little trip (9 nights) in October this year.
It was to one of the European jet set destinations, the Côte d'Azur. More specifically, the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc, well known for rather illustrious guests. At least that´s the case in the summer, but I didn't go there then and to be honest: I'm only partially into the jet set and glamorous. Although: you can find it elsewhere, but more on that later. So I was the one causing trouble in the area instead of movie stars, starlets or other people, some of whom I wouldn't even recognize.
But why a gap filler? Well, during this trip, gaps were definitely filled. During my trip to the Côte d'Azur in 2017, I hadn't managed one or two things, so there were gaps to be filled. In July, I was still in Burgundy and hadn't made it to Dijon, and I had only passed through Lyon. So here, too, there were “gaping holes” that I can hardly bear (OK, a little exaggeration).
But now to the route:
We started in Lyon, which I had had on my list for a long time. For my stay I even became an Ambassador again, but more about that later. I had already mentioned the Hotel du Cap, but I still needed to find a place for the return journey. In Dijon it was the Grand Hotel La Cloche, the only 5-star hotel in the city. So it was an easy choice.
The summary:
3 nights at the Intercontinental Dieu Lyon
4 nights at the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc
2 nights at the MGallery Grand Hotel La Cloche
