How many US airports have the runways and full facilities to handle A380s? Who has the budget to adjust to the acceptances of A380s?

Atlanta is a major US airport so to say that it isn't as significant as JFK is something with which I don't agree. IAD, LAX, SFO, ORD, JFK -- all of those at a minimum will have to decide if expansion is something they can afford.
