Had a really nice stay mid of Oct - early check-in was possible around 13:00, staff is nice, room was upgraded and also nice.
Location was great, bottom line will not consider HI (because I liked Indigo, did not stayed in HI in the past) for my next stays in KRK
To reach the hotel you can either:
- Use the train - 17PLN (I did not) - although this is found in jakdojade.pl (see below) ticket purchase was redirecting to external site
- Use Bus 300 + Tram 20 - 6PLN (1h ticket)
- Use taxi with predefined fees based on km - I saw signs outside of the terminal
Going back to the Airport i pre-ordered Uber Comfort - 58.86PLN
As I had quite a lot of time to loose I decided to use the public transport, please note the bus was very crowded

If you are using public transport in Poland you can buy tickets online, I am using an application called jakdojade.pl which combines directions with tickets, you are preloading some money and purchase tickets.
So far I used it in:
Warsaw - works great - you have the possibility to purchase a ticket in advance and validate while entering the vehicle - you need to scan the QR code located high near the entrances
Krakow - only immediate validation is possible - please note the ticket is time limited so Bus 300 may depart in 10 mins but it is still counted - you need to enter the vehicle number (again high near the entrances) using only numbers will suggest the full number. For Krakow I found that the directions are a little bit inconsistent, but restarting them works, in general you can get pretty good general info and even if you miss your connection you shall be ok with the next bus.
