I added a cheapest car then the total is £4,035.51 but the website fare is £3,091.51. (exactly saying £944 difference)
The agent did not see the return routing in her system, it's only PHX-LAX-LHR-MAN and she manually changed to the one via JFK. According to her, sale prices will not apply to BAH as i) deposit only and ii) ATOL protected.
The car hire is Budget, I can see the same period for $250 or so, so I was quite surprised to learn the £944 extra charge.
