I am not suggesting it applies to London? London already has a very acceptable lounge for status passengers not flying business ( I have not used it myself, but have visited just to have a look and take pictures whilst using the premium lounge next door. The food offerings are good and drinks options are very acceptable).
My point was , London and to a lesser degree Paris, are expensive, compared to other European destinations when flying business class ( even allowing for a positioning flight and sometimes hotel).
