6 nights checking out Sunday 8th Oct.

Platinum Elite was acknowledged at check-in.
Room was apparently upgraded from "Garden View" to "Sea View".
Welcome amenity was offered as a bar/bill credit or 600 points - but given this is an All Inclusive hotel was advised by the receptionist the there was not much point in having bar/bill credit (unless I wanted to buy premium drinks). So points chosen.
Welcome points credited within 2 hours of check-in. - Still waiting for points/nights for the stay (but left Sunday, it's now Wednesday) so I will give it a few more days.
On the morning of the departure day, I decided late checkout would be useful. Went and spoke to reception, they checked the room on the computer and at it was granted with smile and a "that is not a problem with your status".

Will report back with information regarding nights and points credit and if I need to chase them.
