I had a friend who was issued one of these icoupon ones automatically while marooned at PHX back in August... they were unsuccessful in using it. There was also a time limit on its usage (IIRC, 72 hours?).
I thought maybe it was some one off thing that was AC ops at PHX, but given your experience, I guess not.
I guess this is another AC *enhancement*.


FWIW, they were 25K at the time.
The Westjet ones apparently can be used to buy gift cards at say Timmy’s…..Maybe that would work 😂
