I am very sorry to hear that your seats got changed and that your 4 year old is now no longer sitting next to you. If my colleagues were unable to re-arrange the seating for you, one option is to try to do it during check-in, when all blocked seats will be released. Another option is to take this up with our crew when boarding, they will be happy to do all they can to make sure you can sit together.
