I often find there is no upgrade at a Hampton in the UK. I just assume there won't be. In the case of this particular hotel an upgrade might be nice to get a better view or a higher room. But usually an upgrade just means something like a room with a (very uncomfortable) sofa bed which is of no value to me anyways.

I'm not sure what the occupancy was for wizla's stay but this hotel would likely often have really high occupancy rates because it is attached to the airport. A lot of flights leave from STN very, very early so people would stay overnight. I would honestly not anticipate any sort of upgrade.
