I don't suppose BA would remotely be bothered if pax do it. They might care more if pax take to social media - with photos - to say that they have brought their own food when travelling First Class, and it catches on, particularly if it provokes further mainstream negative coverage #BAbringyourownfood.
A random thought on this. It's one thing posting here about how upset we are about our First world problems of being served brunch at lunchtime, but I would be mortified to post on social media that I fly First. I'd even think twice about posting something from CW to be honest, the optics are awful given the state of the economy and cost of living challenges faced by many people.
