Air Malta had a specific agreement with LH to use the lounges in FRA and MUC. There was a time not too long ago when HON could use the F lounges before flying Air Malta.

This doesn’t seem to have been carried over to KM Malta Airlines, and it seems you need the codeshare for lounge access depending on what codeshare lounge rules are active
