What were your thoughts on Miramonti? I am planning a trip to Italy for October 2025, and don,t have a specific destination in mind. Going with 2 other couples who've never really travelled outsde of the USA and just want to see a brand new part of the world. I really liked Miramonti as a resort, although I don't know if October is a great time to go. It's probably on the colder side for hiking and too early to ski? That said, the room was very comfortable, the service was great, the main spa pool was incredible and generally pretty empty and the food at their top restaurant was one of the better meals in my entire life. For the price, its an exceptional value. That said, if I had to knock it, it's location is a bit random. While the view is lovely, all of the main dolomites hikes and activities etc. are quite far away. However, as a resort you visit and don't leave much, it's exceptional for the price. While I meaningfully preferred the Forestis penthouse, it was also 11X the price ;-).
