I was wondering if Delta / United comes close to ANA/JAL.

And Singapore doesn't have lie flat beds?

My wife and I are AMEX Platinum card holders, and I am going to use their travel portal for booking.

Unfortunately, I used a lot of miles recently, and so we have to actually buy these tickets.
