Whenever I book a hertz rental, I add the four hours to the return time, as per my Amex platinum extra 4hr return thing, and it (correctly) never adds an additional day. It’s a useful perk and I’ve never had any issues with it working correctly when booking, at pick up, or on return.

However, I’m pricing up a rental at MRS (Marseille) airport and when I add the four hours on (which are genuinely needed on this occasion) it adds an entire extra rental day, which it shouldn’t be doing.

A quick dummy booking at a couple of my other frequently visited airport locations and the benefit is still working ok at those, but specifically at MRS it doesn’t seem to be working at all.
Is this an oddity at this specific location or are there some excluded locations from this benefit that I’ve just not stumbled across before?
