Very interested to see the details.

Currently on Icelandair KEF-RDU landing at 5:45pm, then hoping to catch the 8pm Southwest RDU-ATL. Today's daylight saving time "fall back" will help us make the flight (otherwise would be landing at 6:45pm, customs, get to other terminal at RDU, check bags).

RDU-KEF last Sunday on a Max 8, boarded premium first, then started from the back of the plane. We paid $60 extra each for exit row both ways, and ended up with an empty middle in the 2nd exit row that reclines. Our fare was the 2nd cheapest "Economy Standard" at about $900 each r/t a month out. Had thought about doing the "stopover" to another European destination, but just did Iceland.
