Just checked in this evening for a 2-night stay. In the morning before my flight to Shanghai, I had noticed on the Hyatt app that I had been upgraded from the King Bed with Shikumen View to a Deluxe Suite. I noted that only Studios, Pavilion Suite, Deluxe Suite, and Residence Suite to be available for booking for the duration of my stay. It is reassuring to see this hotel giving out the stated upgrade benefits for Globalist. During actual check-in, they made no mention whatsoever of the room upgrade, however, and I was only able to confirm actually being given the suite upon walking into the room.

The hotel decor is way too dark for me; not to my liking at all. Granted, I did arrive in the evening, and will see what the hotel property looks like in the daytime.
