Your purchase of 10/21 also received the credit on 10/31 which is exactly the same day as the other 10/21 so I'm personally not convinced that this wasn't part of the automated process as well and the member you quoted will probably automatically receive the credit as well after ~10 days.
The only reason why I think it was triggered by the manual reinbursement is because on 10/31 I received an $80 reinbursemetn for a transaction from August. The agent told me she was going to manually credit that, and then manually credit $100 from my first TB transaction, and then $20 from my seconf TB transaction. And that is how it appears in my account. Either way. I'm just happy it worked out in the end.
