I'll be flying non rev on United out of Singapore in December and I just wanted to see if anyone has any experience leaving from there. I've heard you can't get through security until you are cleared. I just had major issues getting out of Dubai because of that. As of now flights look open so do they typically clear you pretty early or are they going to wait until after boarding begins like I experienced in Dubai? Once you get cleared how has security and immigration been / is it far to the United gates?
