Last I looked the language said that the benefits are only on codeshare flights, and for boarding they do use zones so they could just work around it like that. These benefits used to be a good reason I flew Gol, but am moving over to LATAM now since I do prefer them. With no XP earning, or clear benefits I can't see why to choose Gol over LATAM.
