What you guys are saying is that Atlanta should not be an int'l airport. In fact they are lucky DL does not fly 747's because it'd be a nightmare!
I think if Atlanta wants to remain an major airport, it will HAVE TO accomodate the A380. Come on guys. does ATL want to remain a major airport? The future is here. You will not get to be a hub for a MAJOR airline if you cannot accomodate the largest aircraft in the world. Didn't DL want to fly to Beijing? Hear, hear, all major Asian airlines are buying A380s. You want to make sure they go elsewhere and go to bed with United in Chicago or AA in DFW? Is that it?
DL would do well to tell ATL airport to turn around quickly on that idea!
