When I tried to check in online today, what I found is my room type is still 2 queen beds, however the guest number is changed to one adult instead of 4 people. I still have the original reservation email to prove I booked for 4 people.
Upon further investigation, I found out at some point this year, Hilton Cancun changed the max occupancy for 2 queen beds room from 4 people to 3 people, so I assume it is some system glitch when they did the transition.
My question is how concern should I be, we are flying out today and I plan to print out the original reservation with me just in case if an escalation is needed. I am a Diamond member if that matters.
Hey, do you have an update on what happened during the check-in and the stay? I am trying to figure this out as well. I want to use my FNC here but not able to use it since I will be travelling with 2 kids (6 and 2). Only premium rooms are showing for points which makes it not eligible for FNC. So, wondering if there were any issues at check-in for you.
