I still haven't confirmed but the potential is there to fly TK's 77W to/from SFO in Feb (1PM from SFO, 8AM return from IST). If a decision is made on booking, it may be end of this month (November) or end of December.
According to YT videos, many JJ* birds, but maybe some later JJ* birds have the new seats as well as all LJ* birds.
Well, they are all considered old anyways, they will be replaced by new Crystal 1-2-1 seats next year.
Honestly I can not even tell which one is old or new at this point. I find the seat with the fixed ottoman / footrest better for storing a backpack. The one with the flip-up lid restricts storage capacity a bit.
