I think it’s pretty clear that long term loyalty customers are not flying as much as LH / M&M anticipated they would under the new system. From the bonus points earlier in the year, to the extra 50 HON points on intercon flights atm (which I know nothing about, I just see them credited on my statement for no reason)… it all just feels like a mess and they know they miscalculated.
