When I entered the lounge about 50 minutes before departure the screens are still showing the original boarding time.
I was at the gate about 18-19 minutes before the original departure without knowing the flight is departing 10 minutes early, the gate agents kept saying that it's my fault for not gluing my eyes to the screen the whole time I was in the airport.
Will I be able to claim EC261 compensation for denied boarding?
Thanks!
let me get this straight: you actually chose to cut it fine on purpose, to aim to arrive at the gate "about 18-19 minutes before the original departure". Not before the doors close (as others had pointed out, typically 20 min before original departure).
You actually popped in to the lounge and chose to do it? Like on purpose?
I am sorry to sound skeptical but I do not believe anyone would to this. This is one of the strangest threads in a long while.
