So even though there's new EQM earning from award flights in 2025, as for the status challenge- the current fine print still excludes award travel for required mileage flown. Has anyone seen any word on if this will change?

I'm thinking of switching over from AA loyalty but I've worked so hard on it this year that it'll kind of be a waste if I'm crediting all OW flights to AS next year...
