Thanks KARFA I’ll give that a go. In the past for a simple one-way redemption cancellation it was always a simply quote of Avios and cash to refund and one click to action it. The whole manual process queuing thing means this is potentially going to take ages to get my Avios back. I also loved the €1 cancellation fee on those bookings which is I suspect the real reason this is queued for manual processing. Cost saving is still in their DNA despite record revenue streams.
