That's precisely my sticking point! I fully accept that I'm late to the gate, no matter the excuse. I do have an issue with BA moving the flight forward with no notice and (according to the gate agent) closing the flight 20 minutes prior to the new timing.
It's not been brought forward. 0735 was the scheduled off-block time. Gate closes 20' prior to the time of departure, as written on the boarding pass.
