IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has announced the signing of Crowne Plaza Podgorica, its seventh hotel in Montenegro and second in the capital.

The 122-room hotel, located within the Capital Plaza mixed-use development, is set to open by the end of 2024.

The area houses regional offices for major companies such as Deloitte, PWC, and The World Bank, and includes residential, commercial, retail, and dining spaces.

The hotel will feature meeting and event facilities, a main restaurant on the first floor, and a bar and lounge on the ground and fifth floors.

Plaza Podgorica will join Crowne Plaza Kolasin, a 93-room hotel expected to open in late 2025, as part of IHG’s expansion in Montenegro.

The Crowne Plaza brand is on track to have 100 hotels open across Europe by the end of 2025.
