It's not GS taking CPUs from 1K. It's actual front-cabin bookings and PCUs.
FCM rules all. On my SNA-EWR flights, I often see 4-5 GSs and 10-20 1Ks walking back to Y during pre-boarding. I'll occasionally talk to my neighbors in F on these flights and get the impression that most are not frequent flyers, but always buy F when they fly.
