Anything that thins the GS ranks is welcome. With the bloated GS ranks it is difficult if not impossible to get a CPU. I think out of DEN i am around 8% for the year.
It might make 1k useful again if there are not all these people running around with GS who fly less than 1k's.
This notion floats around every year, but it's an illusion.
It's not GS taking CPUs from 1K. It's actual front-cabin bookings and PCUs.
