However if you go back to the OPs first post she actually states “My travel agent ….. says she represents at least 25 clients whose 5 million Avios disappeared”. We do not know actually how many clients are involved. It could be 26 or 100 or any number we choose. We don’t have the full information.
it also seems odd to me that the accounts were locked around 4 June. The OP first posts on 21 October (over 4 months later) and within a week (27 October) she posts back to say BA has responded.
As someone else upthread has pointed out, what we now see is a different/edited response from BA to what OP originally shared. I saw original and then it quickly disappeared so can’t remember exactly how it differs.
I want to believe OP, but a lot just does not seem to add up.
I find nothing suspicious about the fact that the OP -- who was not previously a member of FlyerTalk -- did not discover this site until some months after her account was locked. She may have felt that the matter would be resolved promptly by BA. When it was not, she could very well have then started searching for sites like FlyerTalk where she might be able to get assistance with this matter.
