On the gifting of status by using PPs, the jury is not out yet.

How many PPs will be needed to grant at each level: 1K, PP, PG, PS etc. (assuming there is no gifting of GS) or the gifted status has to be the same as the gifter's? WIll the gifting limited to one per account or it could be more?

I have found it contradictory of "thinning" the elite population to allow gifting of status.
I am also concerned by offering more options to use PPs may signal limited number seats available for upgrade going forward.
