Yes, another reason I dislike separate reservations. I did apply NUAs to both of mine now to see if I can use them up prior to end of year. We'll see if one or both or none clear.
In addition, when you're booking for 5 nights on points it definitely doesn't make any sense to do them individually because you would lose the 5th night free.
