The CAA site has an interesting piece of information for each aircraft registered, which is the amount of hours on the airframe at a certain point in time (within the last 12 months). I decided to have a look at the A319 fleet to see if we can predict the order of next retirements:

G-EUOA - 48,716 as of 14/05/24
G-EUOE - 49,542 as of 24/06/24
G-EUOF - 49,528 as of 28/08/24
G-EUOG - 49,399 as of 09/09/24
G-EUPM - 49,652 as of 12/06/23 (was retired in Jan'24)
G-EUPL - 48,396 as of 04/01/23 (was retired in Dec'22)
G-EUPJ - 47,829 as of 11/06/24
G-EUPD - 48,887 as of 29/11/23
G-DBCA - 42,299 as of 29/05/24

Cycles have a lot to do with when an aircraft heads to the scrap heap, so total hours is just a rough guide, but it interesting to see the rough hour marker of when the A319 fleet heads out to pasture and the difference in hours between the BA and ex-BMI fleet, which makes the rumoured refurb of those aircraft to the new NEO standard understandable.

For those who are curious, a snapshot of the A320CEO fleet looks like this:

G-EUUA - 52,680 as of 08/01/24
G-TTOB - 57,994 as of 14/03/24
G-TTOE - 58,521 as of 21/03/24
G-EUYA - 36,676 as of 28/10/24
G-MIDS - 49,406 as of 26/02/24 (retired in Sept'24)
