My sense is that indeed some adjustments will come, but unlikely much before we have had two or three full cycles of requalification under the new rules (and no strike related noise in the data and all COVID Hons washed out again).
What is clear is that the HON population will change somewhat, some find it a lot easier (P booking non-hub based flyer, for example), some much harder (J booking hub based flyer, for example).
Spoke to quite a few of the latter group. A good number will not requalify, citing new travel rules and time issues. But a good chunk was also confident to requalify as they anyway do way more than 300k a year. All disliked the annual requalification race. The challenge does little to smooth over that. Some excess point transfer Feature would help and I would imagine that this could be one of the first changes.
