AMEX (UK) Platinum - Benefits Update October 2024
I have just received an email with the update: the Dining credit offer is changing from January to be £400 in total per year (from £300) but with a different mechanic which may not necessarily mean that it is overall better:
It will now be £200 at home and £200 abroad credit, from £150 each, but whilst with the current offer (until 31st December 2024) you have a full year to use it, with the new offer you get £100 each 6 months for both elements (home and abroad) of the offer.
In the same email, they state that the Harvey Nichols offer had been extended for 6 months up to end of June 2025 (hence I guess £50 to use in 2025) with a comment that they are always looking at ways to improve the offer (not sure if this means that it will be replaced or that the extra £100 for dining credit is actually coming off the previous £100 (£50 + £50 each semester) of Harvey Nichols credit.
what are your opinions?
