I don't know if we talked about that one yet, but I was just checking a booking I made for my parents that involves a train segment and that departs in a couple of months, and they cancelled the original train, and put my parents on a train that leaves before the flight arrives in CDG. Even the booking page is hilarious:
Now I'm going to have to call to figure this out, there's also a non null risk that they would cancel the flight for, you know, pre missing the connection.
Edit: I called, and the woman told me they cannot see the original train anymore (which is probably just an IT issue because the train is bookable on the SNFC site). She very seriously recommended that I keep the proposed itinerary with the train departing before the plane arrives, recognizing "it might not be convenient" . I can't

.
Edit 2: after several unsuccessful calls, I tried WhatsApp and they were able to reinstate the original itinerary "as a one time courtesy". It took anything I had to not be snarky about it but didn't want to risk anything
