I've stayed at the St. Regis (not good) and Ritz (awesome). See my reviews in the threads. I wouldn't use the 85k there, no. I like many of the other Marriott options, including Le Meridien (very good), Sheraton Maria Isabel (decent), etc
The brand of a hotel has little to no bearing on the actual property itself.

I haven't been to Andaz Condesa but it's silly to limit yourself to 1 or 2 options in a huge city. That's my point.
