I'm fairly certain this was the "real" cause, but unknown.
On 9/4/24, applied and was approved for CIP (I had one previously but closed it prior to opening this one). I also had Chase Ink Business Unlimited and Chase Ink Business Cash.
Only approved for a $5k line on the new CIP. (old one had like 12k?) Anyway, moved some credit lines around to meet the 8k spend (had taxes and a car downpayment).
On 10/11/24, applied for Chase Ink Unlimited via Referral (for the 90k) But I had forgotten to close the existing one. Technically the "business name" was different (at least as it shows up on the Chase Portal), but was instantly denied for:
1) Insufficient Business Revenue
2) Too many accounts
I called recon and was told they could NOT reconsider, but that I could re-apply with new information if I wanted.
I'm *assuming* it's because I already had the existing card.
Anyway, that same day, closed the other two Chase accounts (to decrease "open credit")
I see that the Business Ink Unlimited 90k is ending on 11/7
Not sure if that's within the Chase 30 day limit (is it on approvals or applying)? OR do I need to wait more than the 30 days after closing the other cards?
5/24 is not an issue here.
