Was thinking of doing a HKG-TPE turnaround for a TPE-HKG-USA itinerary and had a few questions.
For some context, I feel pretty set on CX 443 for the TPE-HKG leg, and the 2 options I was thinking of for HKG-TPE are CX 494 (safer option) or CX 400 (riskier option?)
- Is a visa/entry permit required if I am just transiting? I recall looking at previous posts that there may be issues with that for same plane turnarounds, which I believe CX 400 would be.
- Would I be able to check my bags at HKG to go straight to the US before the HKG-TPE flight? I remember seeing that it was possible but forgot which post it was so wanted to confirm again.
