I see that sleep&fly is limited to 3 hours, but assuming I can't get a quiet room in either Al Safwa or Al Mourjan (highly unlikely as I land at 10pm), that 3 hours will be welcomed. Wonder if you can extend it for cash? I reckon shower, dinner, and drinks in the Al Safwa, head there for 3 hours and back to Al Safwa.

I'll be making a judgement call on the day of whether I want to leave the airport for a real hotel or not. I'm not eligible for the paid stopover hotel program because I'm under 12 hours, which is a bit ridiculous, I don't see why it's not the same threshold as the hotel paid by QR on an unavoidable long layover.
Just so you know, there are 2 sleep&fly lounges. The south one is only PP on the hours that you probably don't want to use it (8AM till 10PM if I remember well). The North one can be used 24hrs.
