If you add a separate Club Card, you will be eligible for the SUB. If you do a product change, you will not.
A product change (not 100% it is possible in this case) changes your existing card to another type and allows you to maintain the "credit" history.
If you open a new card and cancel the PresPlus, it does potentially impact your credit history. Depends on what other long-lived cards you have,
