$ 25 credit as a Diamond Amenity is very nice, though.Received a strange bowl of crisps and 2 cans of soda there last year, hardly worth $ 2.50 , however I could choose any dish of the breakfast menu und chose a steak ( for breakfast )
That gap you refer to is the air conditioner! You probably didnt notice since it was Jan. in Chicago but the room you were in had no fan system. There is only a pipe through which they run hot or cold water. The vent in the bathroom pulls air in through the gap under the door and VOILA! Kind of primitive and not very efficient or comfortable for guests. Sometimes takes a whole day to get the temp to drop 5 degrees. Management will happily provide a huge noisy box fan for your added comfort
